Non Emergent Medical Transportation Services

Our Mission is to provide safe, dependable transportation to all medical appointments, to help clients achieve their treatment goals.

Medicaid Transport Services ProTran's Non Emergent Medical Transportation (NEMT) Service is a specialized transportation program designed to transport and escort clients to their medical appointments. At ProTran East,  we contract with POV (Private Owned Vehicle) Drivers who use their personal automobiles, and are paid for mileage and reimbursed for meals. Our well trained and experienced drivers are fully certified in First Aid and CPR. Our drivers are also familiar with local and long distance medical facilities and are experts in coordinated transportation, making them the best in the field of Medicaid Transportation. In order to provide the best customer service possible, our policy is to provide door-to-door transportation; drivers will meet the clients at the door and provide any assistance they may need getting to the vehicle.

At ProTran East we pride ourselves on excellence, and train our drivers to be prepared, to be alert, and to be the best that they can be. In order to do this drivers are trained in the following areas:

Adult/Child First Aid and CPR

Defensive Driving

Car-Seat Safety

Passenger Assistance and Safety

ADA (American Disabiliity ACT) Understanding Clients With Disabilities

Fire Safey

Disaster Preparedness

Client Sensitivity/Cultural Awareness

Client Confidentiality

Mandated Reporting

At ProTran East we take Client Safety very serious. All drivers take an initial drug test and must pass a finger print criminal history background check for both FBI and Washington State Patrol. Drivers also must have a clean drives abstract with no accidents or speeding tickets for 3 years prior to becoming a driver for ProTran East. Our drivers are also trained to perform Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspections for safety and on emergency and disaster preparedness.
